Hey, im mikey!

In my past life, I helped develop novel interest rate, commodity, currency, and stock market futures which traded several billion dollars in notional value across thousands of unique participants.

These days, I'm studying applied computer science and working at Shopify to make commerce better for everyone.

In my free time I enjoy coding, running and learning Japanese. I started writing my first programs in college, ran my first 100-mile marathon in 2022 and intend to pass (JLPT) N3 this December!
